This story is considered the holy book for the followers of Ahsratma (actually an acronym standing for "All Hail Symo's Return As The Messiah Alliance"), a sort of religion that evolved from the "miraculous" nature of the events involved in this tale. Some souls dispute the veracity of the tale, suggesting that the young soul Dragyn was mistaken; others have postulated that this and other "miracles" were simply caused by glitches while the programming behind GoKrida was being adjusted. Whatever the case, Ahsratma seems to take things in stride with a sense of humor and serendipity.
According to Dragyn, witness to the original incident and founder of Ahsratma, "The story of Symo is actually called 'the Tale of the Glazèd' amongst Ahsratma members, but if all the Symajestic writings get compiled, then they are referred to as 'The Book of Symo'."
For lo! this is a recounting of the Tale of the Miracle and Ascension and Betrayal of Our Lord, The Great Symo, told this 280th day of the year of Our Lord by the Ahtmiad-incarnate Dragyn, blessèd by Symo may he be.
The Miracle:
In the realm of Manifest Chaos, on the planet Yellow Moon, came He Our Lord in humble blessings and exultations for the life of the world. And in His manner did Symo glaze, as all do when soul departs body and interest departs eyes. And Symo did rest from His labors for mankind, taking time to find peace. But! in evil intentions came Talons, set upon the death of Our Lord and with no hope of redemption. Symo did espy his approach, but was at peace. At the hour of Talons' coming, Our Lord The Great and Glazèd Symo did work a miracle, mortally wounding His enemy without physical or mental action. For the settled band of Leaf souls did gather in His name, and protect Our Lord from harm and misfortune. Thus should all souls live under the Glazèd Eyes of Symo, so that evil and strife may be averted. So was it seen and reported by Dragyn, blessèd by Symo may he be, so that all may know of Symo's way.
The Ascension:
And it came a time- the 20th day of Our Lord's stay on Yellow Moon- that there arose another evil to challenge Him, in his glory. Darin was the name of the Enemy of Our Lord, and he descended upon Symo in great wrath. For Darin was angered by the rejoicings of the People Who Hail, and did not believe in that which had happened clearly. And so he came upon Symo in His bliss, and made as to slay Our Lord on the spot. But lo! Symo did release the bounds of mortal life and ascended into the heavens. Enemy Darin was thus defeated, for by assisting Symo in His ascension, he only strengthened the bonds that united the People That Hail, and set into them a greater peace. For then the People became known as Those Who Await Symo's Return, the Ahsratma, and they found in Dragyn, blessèd by Symo may he be, an Incarnation of The Great Symo's spirit, to lead them in worship.
The Betrayal:
And the Ahsratma looked out upon the land of Yellow Moon, and saw what there was to see. Many killed without reason, and the Glazèd were without glory. And Sainter Streben, blessèd by Symo may he be, looked out and found one of the Glazèd that was holy. And his name was Roryu, the Defender of the North, who had ascended to Heaven through self-denial. And those of the Ahsratma rejoiced, until the Ahtmiad discovered truth. For Roryu was in fact a multi, a grave insult to the religion and to Sainter Streben, blessèd by Symo may he be. And so Roryu and Roryo fell from the light of Symo's way, and became unto the Ahsratma the antagonist and the maker of woe. From this do we learn care- for those of the Ahsratma invested worship in that which was evil, but discovered the truth and returned to the untainted path, the True Way of The Great Symo.
The First Miracle:
A miracle has been performed this day of Our Holy Symo, for His prophet Dragyn the Ahtmiad, who traveled in the footsteps of His Glazèdness, has been protected by His divine providence. Lo, and Dragyn traveled over the sands of the planet of Rainbow Youth, a land unknown to the Ahsratma. And as he traveled, he encountered a lone warrior in the sands, of an element dominating the Ahtmiad and of a demeanor aggressive to him. And The Great Symo did look down, and He saw the prophet Dragyn in dire peril, though Dragyn was unaware that the warrior stood ready to attack him. But The Great n' Glazèd, who dwells in the highest courts of Heaven, did reach out His mighty will, and soothed the heart of the barbarian. Thus the Ahtmiad moved freely by, and was untroubled in his travels. AlhambraIV the Finder of Miracles did mention this happening to Dragyn, who upon hearing this joyous news did fall down to the earth in awe of The Might of Symo. And he called this land holy, saying: "This land is the land upon which enemies have been made friends, and warriors have calmed their passion for war." So should we praise The Great Symo, bringer of miracles for the faithful!
